[PROTOTYPE] "Recess" Demo

This is a short demo for a prototype I created for a university research project on "How can feelings of nostalgia, previously experienced or not, drive the design of a cozy game for a cross generational audience?". I undertook extensive research into how to create feelings of anemoia and nostalgia through gameplay, and how these feelings can be used to enhance a cozy game experience. This prototype was used to demonstrate how these feelings could be created in a short experience.

This game is just a prototype! Therefore, I have used a lot of premade art assets to complete this project on time, and a lot of the art assets are left unfinished. Although cosiness and nostalgia can be effectively created and enhanced through aesthetics, I opted not to explore these areas for this prototype and instead focused on creating cozy and nostalgic gameplay elements. Furthermore, this prototype lacks a lot of polish in many areas, so please forgive any bugs or problems you may find! 

Feedback is always greatly appreciated as the purpose of this prototype is to practise and improve both my game design and development skills. I would love to hear your thoughts on the idea and what elements you think you would improve!
